I loved reading this book! The very first person view really gave an insight to what was happening to each character, so you could really get into it.
It had a great plot, mystery, setting, and great characters. It`s great that Nancy, Frank, and Joe are all up to date so older and younger kids can really relate to them, because it happens in the 21st century. I read Nancy Drew books, but have never read a Hardy Boy book, but if they are anything like this, I am definitly going to read one.

I thought this was a great book. It was very exciting and fun, and I really like the First Person view and the way the characters are described. I think that these newer series are great and hope the authors keep writing more of them!

I admit to reading and rereading the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Super Mysteries yesterday and some of them still hold up after a decade or so of change but this new series seems to be aiming straight for the tween and teen generation and completely ignoring the concept of older readers still getting thrill from Nancy and the Hardy's adventures. While the mystery was interesting the inclusion of Bess, George and Ned seemed tiresome and more than a little tedious. This was to be Nancy and the Hardy's very first meeting and I'd always been curious to know how they met but this beginning lacked punch and just barely held my interest.
I'm a huge fan of the Hardy Boys and their chapters read like filler while Nancy owned the show. Now don't get me wrong, I adore Nancy, but I enjoyed the Hardy Boys Casefiles more. They had an adult aspect that this new version of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys lack. It's a cute book but not for someone over the age of 14.

Okay, the story and plot were very good and intriguing in this story. I have never read a Hardy Boys book before and, if it's anything like this, I won't ever read one! As a girl I think it's very annoying for the Hardy Boys to be so arrogant and to take all of the credit! Nancy found ALL of the clues and they didn't even say thank you! And they just left! I was very dissapointed and I probably will not buy another Super Mystery.

I've been a Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys fan and avid reader since the hardcover days. Love the Case Files and Supermysteries!! This "NEW" version leaves much to be desired. The "first person" chapters are annoying. Since when did George become so computer orientated?? Since when does Bess know how to pick locks? Since when do Bess and George become so ANNOYING in their criticizing Nancy for finding a mystery? I realize they are trying to "Update" the series and the plot (of the series) is intriguing, since now Nancy, Joe and Frank don't even know each other and now Joe has become smarter, but we'll see.
