Remarks: Rodale Press, 1975, FIRST EDITION (first printings) Two-Volume Set: ISBN number'S: 0875960677 Hardcover books with dustjackets. Books and jackets are in better than acceptable condition. The previous owner was not kind to these books. There are several stickers inside, a name sticker and some Bible verses on small stickers. [The book belonged to a Rev. Robert Carlson of NY]. Otherwise, the pages are clean and unmarked. The covers show soil, but bindings are sturdy. The jackets were taped to the books. Now in mylar covers, tape residue is still evident, jackets show soil and wear. Despite all faults, this is yet a servicable and attractive set of the definitive reference for the Appalachian trail. Full of practical information, amazing photographs, and moving stories of through hikers on the AT. The two volumes weigh over 8 pounds packed for shipment - International availability may be limited.
