Remarks: 1949 FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING (Grosset & Dunlap--Like the last picture shown on Product Page) - INSIDE (Very Good condition): LOOKS UNREAD (if not, gently read, because it has just one reading dog ear on the very first reading page): Clean pages (with the EXCEPTION of some foxing to pages); No writing or highlights, tight binding. ENDPAPERS/FLYLEAVES: White and Multi-Orange Pictorial--NICE! ACTUAL BOOK (Good condition): Solid & tight; edge rubbing; corner/spine ends wear/rubbing; sunned/age-tanned/discolored. Front-bottom has a glue mark; Back-bottom has remnants of a peeled sticker, with some surface cover peel. Page edges are age-tanned with some foxing. Top of fore page-edge has a pen small pen mark. DOES NOT HAVE DUST COVER. Top page edge is Dark Brown, in color, to match the Brown Tweed Cover. NOT EX-LIBRARY, NOT BOOK CLUB, NO REMAINDER MARK.
