Series #27/27 titles backlisted on front flap, Rick Brant comic on rear, rear flap is ad for Rick Brant?s The Whispering Box Mystery. 1948 D ? 4th overall printing. Wrap-around spine dust jacket. Good paper, 212 pages followed by 4 pages of Rick Brant advertisement. Thin brown boards with thin author's name, orange Gretta end papers, plain frontis. Boards worn along edges, lower corners bumped, faint reddish damp stain on top of front & rear cover near fore edges - text is fine, pages very lightly age toned. DJ chipped in spots along edges, damp marks along top third of the folds, lightly aged. DJ now protected in clear archival cover. Scans available.
