Remarks: Grosset & Dunlap NY, 1942. Late 1950?s reprint. HB. Tan boards with brown lettering and silhouette of the boys. Decorative endpapers. Front flap listing goes to Mystery of the Chinese Junk. Tom Swift listing on the back ends with #16 Tom Swift and the Cosmic Astronauts. 5 ? X7 ? in. tall. 218pp. Book State: Cover is clean with very little wear and a minor bump to the bottom of the spine. Type of bind is tight. There is a small area along the front gutter inside that has suffered some paper loss. Pages are clean, white and unmarked except for an inked price and a faint stamp on the pretitle page. DJ has been repaired and laminated. It is evident that before repair, jacket was worn and creased along the edges with a ? in. chip missing from the bottom front corner, a small chip at the bottom of the spine, and a larger piece missing from the top of the spine, with the words ?The? and ?Clue? partially gone. Heavy creasing along the front edge has caused some loss of color.
