Although more than a bit predictable in spots, Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination has the charm of Bridget Jones, but without the angst and self-loathing. Joules' clumsy attempts at super-sleuthing are almost always successful--not necessarily because of ingenuity or intellect, but because of odd deus-ex-machinas which seem to follow Joules everywhere she goes. She has the guts of James Bond without the misogynist bent.
