Ok, I was just kidding about that Tolkien bit but this author, in my opinion, could write a cookbook and make it sound like a swashbuckling adventure. I would recommend any of his books for anyone who likes detailed descriptions of swordplay(if I am not mistaken he actually is a fencer so his descriptions are very accurate) and awesome fantasy stories involving elves, dwarves, halflings, dragons...well I could go on but you get the picture. I would highly recommend all of the Drizzt books, of which this book is one of the best. I own nearly every book this author has written and have read many of them multiple times. Now, having said that, I don't remember exactly what this story is about but I can tell you that I enjoyed reading it the 2 or 3 times that I did so.

This is a faithful rendition of R.A. Salvatore's novel. It has good art and stays close enough to the written word to not upset the die-hard fans. But remember, this is the comic series compiled into one volume, not the original novel.
