The Look of the Old West is a fascinating read. Any history buff would love this illuminating glimpse into the past. Foster-Harris clearly knows what he is talking about here, and paints brilliant pictures, not only with his words (which, alone, are enough) but with actual illustrations of clothes, flags, guns, cattle brands, and wagons of the time. You really start to get a great idea of how the Old West was.

This is such a fascinating book! I've never seen such a resource on the Old West. It's loaded with so much information and amazing line drawings of the Old West's clothing styles, uniforms, weaponry, transportation - you name it. This is a must-own for historians, collectors, and many more.
