Mason's book is a refreshing, inspiring look at marriage through new, spiritual eyes. If you learn nothing else from this book, you will at least gain a better perspective on what it is to be spiritually minded in your thinking. The insight that he has into God's glorious design in marriage is unparalleled in it's depth and beauty. Other books may give you more practical advice and more thorough exposition of Scripture, but rarely will they make you stand so in awe of the wisdom and wonder of God as Mason's book manages to do with skillful artistry page after page. He is the C.S. Lewis of the 21st century--piercing, witty, magnificent, humbling quotes are never in short supply.

I have given so many copies of this book to friends and children of friends. If you know someone who is getting married or having trouble in their marriage, please do them a favor and pick up a copy of this book for them. Sound Christian principals on love and relationship and the true meaning of two people becoming one in Christ.

This book is a beautiful look at what marriage is and how God created it. It is refreshing to read and stays away from the how to and just focuses on the glorious yet mysterious miracle of marriage. Loved it and give it away to all new brides and grooms I know.

Although this book is not a quick read, if you are willing to take the time to sit down with it, it will open your eyes and knock your socks off! To truly understand the reason and meaning of marriage in God's eyes has been a tremendous blessing to my marriage. Highly recommend this book!
