This book proved to be very helpful. The book had a very real format that closely matched the test itself. Do devote time to the practice sections of the book in each subject area and you will be fine.

Xam GACE Basic Skills 200, 201, 202 is a much better guide than the orange and grey books. It gives questions and answers that can be studied and that can prepare one for the GACE exam. There are a few mistakes. The math part is good. I am not sure yet if the questions reflect those of the exam itself. But the guide does put one in the study and testtaking mode. There is still room for improvement. I finished studying the guide in 3 weeks. Now I am going back over the information before my exam. The price should not be so steep. Thank you.

This book is the exact same layout as the Gace Basic Skills of course the questions are completely different. Its a good study aid. I am not that great with math and didnt' study that area enough. So, I decided that if I didnt' pass it I would retake the math section. Everything that I had begun to practice in the math section was on the exam so you coould imagine how I felt not giving enough time to that section. And, I only gave myself 40 days to study. Use the book thoroughly. By the way, its the only study aid available.
Update: I passed the reading and writing segment. I am taking the Math section over as it is my weakness. Overall, this is a really good study aid.

This was much better than the competing study guide for GACE. The other was riddled with errors and seemed not designed for the test at all. This one was very much on target.

I've taken the GACE test and this book was a wonderful asset. I haven't received my scores yet, but I think that this book really helped me out. I would recommend this book!
