Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Delightful!
It was so nice to read a P&P sequel that answered questions you hadn't even realized you'd wondered about. Some real thought went into this book.

Rated by buyers 2 out of 5 stars - Not One of the Better Sequels
My very first problem with this book was the printing. Every single page was crooked, even the back cover. The story started out well enough but quickly took a turn for the worse. In many instances it was difficult to determine who was "speaking". I think the final nail in the coffin was towards the end when Lady Catherine said that she couldn't spend her time "hanging around here". Definitely not something Lady C would have uttered. The ending was a great letdown as well and it seemed the writer had just grown tired of the story by trying to sum it up in a few pages.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - A delightful continuation of Pride & Prejudice
This is a well-written, enjoyable sequel to Pride & Prejudice, focusing on the character of Mr. Darcy's cousin, Anne DeBourgh. Jane Austen portrays her as sickly and quiet, but Ms. Brocklehurst goes beyond in developing Anne's character as she journeys to Pemberley. We get glimpses of our favorite characters from P&P, but I also developed a new appreciation for Anne DeBourgh.

Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - Austen Fan
The story follows Lady Catherine and Anne. The characters did not stray too much from Austen's original. Unfortunately, Catherine and Anne are not nearly as interesting characters as the beloved Darcy and Elizabeth.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - One of the best!
I have read many sequels to Pride & Prejudice and this is one of the best ones. Even if one has not been immersed in the world of Jane Austen they will still enjoy this book in its own right.

For lovers of P & P, the characters stay true to form and become even more beloved as you read. We gain a new appreciation for poor Anne De Bourgh and you will find yourself cheering her on!

I highly recommend this! Happy ending, enjoyable read!
