My son (age 6) and I have had fun on Saturday mornings working through some of these activities. The activities have been both educational and easy to do. The instructions are easy to follow. Some of the activities are too simple and we did not do them. One of the activities sounded simple, but was difficult. It was using thread to cut through an ice cube. We did not ever take the amount of time necessary to get through it.
I do not have other books to compare this one to, but this was exactly the kind of book we wanted.
