Product Description:
SOMEONE'S PLAYING PRACTICAL JOKES -- BUT MEAN num MR. DALY ISN'T LAUGHING!
Nancy's class is going to the zoo on Friday, but very first they have to survive a week with their strict substitute teacher, Mr. Daly. And things aren't looking too good: someone is playing practical jokes on him, and he's threatening to cancel the trip!
First a sign saying OLD MEAN numIE is taped to his back. Then someone puts a fake goldfish in his water glass. But who would want to miss a fun trip to the zoo? If Nancy doesn't find out, the joke will be on the whole class -- and that's not funny!

Nancy Drew, with all of her detective skills, can't seem to find a sense of humour in her grouchpot substitute teacher, Mr. Daly. Well, maybe it's not all Mr. Daly's fault. The jokes he's had to endure in his classroom are pretty lame.
Who would be dumb enough to think that putting a fake goldfish in a teacher's water glass would be a laugh-riot? Well, apparently, it's the same goofy person who pinned a "Old Meanie" sign on Mr. Daly's back. Is it any wonder the teacher isn't laughing?
But when things keep getting out of hand, it sure looks like the whole class is going to pay the price for the dumb jokes, because it's Mr. Daly who just might cancel the class trip to the zoo.
Nancy Drew better get out her trusty blue notebook and start writing down clues and suspects. Bess, and George sure want her to find the prankster. But somebody doesn't want the monkeying around to stop -- no matter how badly the class wants to go on the trip!
It's up to Nancy Drew to crack the case 'cause It's No Joke!

It's funny, and suspicious things happen. I read it all by myself. You've got to use your brain to figure out the mystery. I love Nancy Drew Notebooks, and all kids 6 or up should read them.
