Wow, I'm hitting all the great Enid Blyton books tonight! :^) I loved the Adventures of Pip as a child because it was so creative in tying interesting stories of Pip the pixie (as I recall) to nature themes. For instance, you find out cool stuff about plants because certain plants happen to be "purses with money in them," others are fairies' pots and pans, others are keys to wind magic toys (although this might be in a different book), others are pepper shakers, pots of glue, etc. These are all real plants/trees that Ms. Blyton names and the parts of the plants that become these things certainly look like that's what they ought to be. A fun yet educational read.
