The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure are a formidable thicket. This guide has been invaluable for me in breaking them down, and making them plain, understandable. The authors provide copious (but very focused), fantastic reference cases to illustrate the actual applications of the rules in federal court. I could not survive Civ Pro without this book.
I even emailed the lead author about a question with one issue in Rule 4 and he wrote back the same day! Awesome
