I used to serve under a very exacting Senior Pastor who was a stickler for proper pronunciation. This was easy to use and helped me avoid being scolded.

How would you pronounce the following Bible characters names: Abiathar, Absalom, Adonijah, Ittai, Shimei? Bible Pronunciation Guide is one of my favorite Bible tools. Whether just for personal study or giving a Sunday lesson I owe it to myself & my audience to pronounce the names of the Bible characters correctly. If you want to know more about the biblical characters names you are pronouncing, read THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE BOOK OF PROVERBS by Cody Jones. Numerous characters from the Bible are pointed out who illustrate King Solomon's witty observations on human nature.
