Some people complain that the story is different from the movie. It is. However, that's what makes this little children's book so great! It's a different take on the movie that we all (or maybe just me) have watched hundreds of times. The pictures are cute too! If you are a Labyrinth freak like me, this is a must have!

This is the best book i have ever read. I love the movie and own many different items of the merchandise. despite the fact that this an awesome childrens book i think they should make a version of the book for adults like me to read, becasue if i enjoyed this that much i'm sure i would like a more sesciptive version.

This book is very cute. However, some of the pics weren't all that good. I love Labyrinth and David Bowie. And anyone who doesn't should not be reading this book.

This is a cute children's book. The story is simplified a bit and the text is a nice big size. The water colour illustrations are cute and colorful and well composed. The skill of the artist in rendering people is lacking at times. His style is very different from Brian Froud, the conceptual designer for the movie. The one plate I really get a kick out of is at the end of the book when Jareth vanishs, it's comic strip like in that he makes a super hero "NO!!!" pose and it looks like he and the universe are about to explode. If you are a fan of the movie you'll appreciate this cute book.

IT STRAYED A BIT FROM THE MOVIE'S PLOT, BUT THE ADDITIONS TO IT MADE THE STORY BETTER. OVERALL, IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD BOOK. IT'S NOT THE BEST I'VE READ, BUT IT'S CERTAINLY MUCH BETTER THAN THE WORST. I RECOMMEND IT IF YOU ARE A BIG MOVIE FAN, OTHERWISE, YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT AS MUCH.
